タイトル：The phylogeography and behavior of some natricine snakes in North
America. （北米産ヤマカガシの系統地理と行動）

要旨：This talk will focus on genetic and behavior differences in 
populations
of snakes that reinvaded areas around the Great Lakes, and islands in Lake
Michigan, after the glaciers retreated about 8,000 years ago. Both
genetically fixed and environmentally plastic traits will be shown to be
operating in this system where differences in prey and predators abound. The
source populations that reinvaded the area can also be identified and
represent different lineages as assessed by mtDNA.
