次回の国際行動学会議（IEC,International Ethological Conference）は、
2013年8月4〜8日にイギリスの Gatesheadで開催されます。詳しくは、

BEHAVIOUR 2013

Behaviour 2013 will be the 33rd International Ethological Conference, 
and will be held in Gateshead, England between 4th and 8th August 2013. 
The event is a joint meeting of the IEC and the Association for the 
Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB).
The conference will be the largest gathering of researchers working in 
the various fields of animal and human behaviour that comprise the 
discipline of ethology to be held in 2013. We anticipate more than 800 
participants coming from all continents.
CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS
As always, the aim of the IEC is to stimulate exchanges between 
researchers working in the various branches of ethology and related 
fields.
Academic highlights of the meeting include:
	6 plenary talks given by leading researchers
	Themed symposia - the call for symposia is now open
	Contributed talks
	Poster sessions
	Exhibitions by publishers and equipment suppliers
	Opportunities for workshops and roundtable discussions
	Fantastic city-centre venue in a stunning, individual event centre
	Spectacular coasts and castles right on the doorstep
	Warm and welcoming social programme, including a banquet in one of 
the region's most notable venues
	UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Durham Cathedral, Hadrian's 
Wall and Alnwick Castle (the site of the Harry Potter films!)
